Our goal is to help educators understand their state pension. Our free one-on-one course explains the state retirement system so when it is time to hang up the chalk they can transition to life after the classroom with confidence. The Before Times:
Our founder of The Teacher Social, Marlon is an honorable two-time US Army Veteran. Marlon took the initiative to conduct seminars on retirement in the school systems. Hence educators don’t normally get the acknowledgment they deserve for providing great service to our public school systems. Marlon implemented The Teacher Social Organization to create awareness for educators and has always given back to the children and teachers in the community.

Meet The Peoples Financial Coach
Marlon Johnson
Nothing causes Marlon’s grin to grow more than knowing teachers are being taken care of – mentally, emotionally, and financially! For decades, he has shown a deep level of care for and attention to the well-being of teachers. Marlon has seen too much… he mourns when he watches teachers working second jobs, delaying retirement, or coming out of retirement because their pension isn’t enough. He feels physical pain when he witnesses teachers being disrespected, abused, or simply weighed down with overwhelming stress. In addition to educating educators about financial independence, Marlon is now excited to partner with others to show more love and tangible support to teachers.
After seeing teachers pour into their students at their own expense, he’s committed to creating a space where teachers are celebrated and empowered - through social, mental, and financial channels.
